The private bus and SLTB bus which collided head on at DDK curve in Kadjugama.
Twenty seven passengers including two children were injured when two buses collided head on at DDK curve in Kadjugama in the Nittambuwa Police Division yesterday morning. Police said that a private bus was plying from Kandy to Negombo and a SLTB bus was heading for Muttur from Colombo when the accident occurred.
Police said that the collision had occurred when the private bus tried to overtake another vehicle at the curve without noticing the SLTB bus coming from the opposite side. The drivers of the both buses are among the injured.Hospital sources said that the injured are not in a critical condition.
