Pearl Angels pre-school, Watareka held its Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations recently. All traditional customs and rituals were meticulously observed. According to the Principal, Lasanthi Udayakumari, the aim of the celebrations was to familiarise the children with the Sinhala and Tamil New Year traditions.
