According to US media at least 5 fatalities were recorded from a mass shooting at a Bank in Louisville, Kentucky yesterday (10 April). The shooter was preciously employed at the bank. He has also live streamed the shooting on Social media (Instagram) which was subsequently taken down by the Police. Gunman was shot dead by the Police during the altercation where the gunman started shooting at the Police.
There are two policemen among the nine injured who received treatment after the shooting and three are in critical condition.
Currently the motive for the shooting is not clear.
Vice President Kamila Haris expressing her condolences via an Instagram post has stated that this is the 146th mass shooting in USA this year and asked the public to not be fooled by the ‘false choice’ provided by the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution.
