Finance State Minister Dr. Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said government employees will be paid their April salary on the 10th of this month and the government is also planning to pay a special allowance for employees in the last quarter of this year.
He said that the President has given instructions to pay public employee salaries, pensions and Samurdhi allowances before April 10.
He said payments will be made eventhough it is a heavy burden on the government’s cash flows.
