Vidyartha and St. Sylvester’s draw match

The 63rd Battle of the Babes between St. Sylvester’s College and Vidyartha College for the trophy in memory of Rev. Fr. Don George ended in a draw at the Pallekelle International Stadium yesterday.

Invited to bat first St. Sylvester’s were bowled out for 94 and in reply Vidyartha made199.

Batting a second time St. Sylvester’s scored 149 for three wickets until close of play. Kahanaka Wickremasinghe scored 63.
