The Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR) which conducted many events will commence the 2023 Super Series shortly in association with the Asian Motor Racing Club for which Nippon Paints have come forward to sponsor.
The Super Series is expected to get underway on a new track called the Nippon Mahameruwa Racing Arena. SLARDAR can take credit for running all major racing events in various parts of the country like the Fox Hill Super Cross, Gajaba Super Cross, Gunners Super Cross, Sigiriya Super Cross, Commando Super Cross and the Colombo Super Cross.
It was the club that offered cars and bikes for the winners of the Super Cross. Since 2017 they were unable to continue racing due to many reasons.
The Mahameruwa Racing Arena located in Nalla, Giriulla situated in the North Wesxtern Province will be open to drivers and riders of all categories. It was also said that all facilities needed for drivers and riders are available in close proximity for their benefit.
