An exhibition titled “Geoffrey Bawa: It Is Essential to Be There” was inaugurated last week at the Modern Art Gallery in New Delhi by Indian external Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India Milinda Moragoda to mark the 75th anniversary of Indo-Lanka diplomatic ties. The exhibition, which features Bawa’s architectural models and plans, correspondence, photographs and artworks, will continue until May 7.
