Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association President Gemunu Wijeratne yesterday stated that the private buses will not support the strike scheduled to be held today.
“Event though those striking people are entitled to their salaries, if the buses go on strike, our workers will have to go hungry,”Wijeratne said.
He said that the private buses will not support the strike today. He also said that if there are not enough buses to run those services, steps will be taken to deploy additional buses.
