Oshadi Ayodya the player of the final guided MCA Red to become champions at the MCA Cricket Development Committee inaugural MCA Cricket Academy girls inter house T-20 League last Thursday at the MCA ground.
The Academy students were pooled into three teams, MCA Red, MCA Blue and MCA Green that was captained by Dhahami Senethma, who represented the Sri Lanka team in the ICC Women’s U-19 World Cup 2023 in South Africa.
Waruni Subashini and Hirisha Jayashankar both from MCA Red received best batter and best bowler awards while Waruni was also named player of the tournament.
Namal Seneviratne the head coach of MCA cricket Academy and his well supported staff did a splendid job to build up their skills.
