The 44th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution-Iran National Day was celebrated on Friday at Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7.
The Chief Guest Environment Minister Naseer Ahamed along with the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran Hashem Ashjaazdseh, former Presidents Mahinda Rajapaksa and Gotabaya Rajapaksa were also present.
Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, ministers, members of Parliament, diplomats, Cultural Counsellor of Iran Cultural Centre Bahman Moazamil, Representatives of Muslim organisations and media personal were also present.
