Jaffna Kings franchise team won the Lanka Premier League (LPL) domestic T20 cricket tournament for the third time when they beat Colombo Stars by two wickets chasing a target of 164 in the final at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday night. The winning team comprised Thisara Perera (captain), Avishka Fernando, Rahmanulla Gurbaz, Afif Hossain, Sadeera Samarawickrema, Shoaib Malik, Dunith Wellalage, Maheesh Theekshana, Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, Binura Fernando and Zaman Khan while Ashan Randika, Dhananjaya de Silva, Praveen Jayawickrema, James Fuller and Asitha Fernando were named as reserves
