Thai Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Poj Harnpol, recently paid a courtesy call on the Board of Investment (BOI) Chairman Raja Edirisuriya and Director General Renuka M. Weerakone at the BOI headquarters to discuss the current investment environment in the country.
Poj Harnpol pledged support to the private sector with respect to future business endeavors and the people of Sri Lanka at large.
Edirisuriya expressed sincere gratitude for the concern of the delegation on behalf of the Government of Thailand and for their readiness to assist Sri Lanka in times of challenging situations.
The Ambassador said, “We are eager and looking forward to supporting Sri Lanka and thereby strengthening the ties and broadening our collaboration.”
The envoy was accompanied by Minister Counsellor Arthit Prasartkul and First Secretary Preeyanit Lumjiak.
