President Ranil Wickremesinghe paid his last respects to the Anuradhapura Atamasthanadhipathi and North Central Province Chief Sanghanayaka Most Ven. Dr. Pallegama Sirinivasa Thera yesterday. The President visited the Bodhimaluwa Vihara where the remains of the Most Ven. Dr. Sirinivasa Thera were lying and paid his last respects. He also signed the condolence book. Later, President Wickremesinghe called on the Most Ven. Pallegama Hemarathana Nayaka Thera at the Ruwanweli Seya Vihara and inquired about the last rites of the Most Ven. Dr. Sirinivasa Thera. Former Minister S.M. Chandrasena, Presidential Senior Adviser on National Security and Chief of Presidential Staff Sagala Ratnayake, UNP Chairman MP Wajira Abeywardena and UNP General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara were also present.
