The Imbulana Sri Sena National School Under 18 volleyball champions comprising Dhanush Keshan, Sahan Viduranga, Kavindu Niroshan, Induranga Ratnayaka (captain), Udith Priyan, Akash Crishan, Navindu Premarathna, Nalin Ratnayake, Sajith Kan Mohomad, Gayanaka Praveen, Kosala Sadharuwan and Lahisa Adithya along with the deputy principal Sandun Weerasinghe, training instructor Chinthaka Premathilaka and sports adviser Yasanthi Koralage
Imbulana Sri Sena National School emerged victorious at an inter-school volleyball championship that was concluded recently when they beat Ruwanwella Rajasinghe Central College to win the Sabaragamuwa Province inter-school under-18 schools boys’ volleyball tournament.
In addition to this victory Imbulana Sri Sena National School also came up with high class performances to showcase their volleyball skills and brought glory to the school by winning many other age groups during this Championship.
Sri Sena National School recently won the DSI Super Sports school volleyball championship 2022 which was held at Ruwanwella Rajasinghe Central College to become the district champions.
At this championship they recorded victories in the under-11 boys and girls championships while the under-13 girls became runner-up and under-13 boys won the championships. They were runners up in the boys under 17 boys and runners-up in the under 19 girls and 19 boys segments.
All these performances were achieved under the guidance and supervision of the principal of Imbulana Sri Sena National School HMPK Bambaragama and Chinthaka Premathilaka the training instructor.
