Disney’s Cruella is a real-time burglary comedy-fantasy film released by Walt Disney Pictures.
Cruella debuted in Los Angeles on May 18, 2021, and was released to theatres the following day. This film is based on the 1961 Disney animated film, 101 Dalmatians. Craig Gillespie directed this film. Emma Stone plays Cruella de Vil in the film, which is based on her childhood.
In addition to Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, and Joel Fry, Emily Beecham, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, and Mark Strong play supporting roles.
This tale takes place in London during the rock music movement of the 1970s and follows Estella Miller, an optimistic fashion designer, as she uncovers and gets to know many things and finally becomes the wickedly famous and marvellous fashion designer, Cruella de Vil.
Cruella’s plot, set in the late 1970s London, during the punk rock revolution, describes a young girl named Estella Miller who has marvellous and special black and white hair and is extremely passionate about fashion design, but ultimately loses her mother and becomes an orphan. However, she becomes friends with two young thieving boys, and they live together, enabling them to make a living on the streets of London.
Estella’s fashion sense eventually captures the interest of Baroness von Hellman, a fashion legend who is both utterly stylish and frighteningly bad and wicked. She has a high self- esteem and is very proud of herself.
Estella starts working for the Baroness and designing the Baroness’s fashionable, marvellous and gleaming clothing. However, the Baroness ends up as Estella’s birth mother, besides being Estella’s enemy, when she reveals that Baroness von Hellman is the woman who murdered her stepmother.
Estella transforms into Cruella de Vil, acting with the aim of getting revenge and designing wickedly splendid, stylish clothes.
