At the Colombo Tea Auctions held on July 20, Rothschild Estate PF1 Grade obtained an all-time record price of Rs.1,700 per kg.
Rothschild Estate in Pussellawa is managed by Pussellawa Plantations PLC which is a subsidiary of Damro Group of Companies. This Factory maintains high manufacturing practices and producers Premium Quality CTC teas which are eagerlysought after by many Exporters.
This tea was purchased by Gordon Vintage and was sold through the catalogues of Lanka Commodity Brokers Ltd.
