Trade unions of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) called off their strike yesterday morning following discussions with Government officials. According to trade unionists, buses will run as usual today. SLTB employees resorted to a trade union strike on Friday, July 8, citing the failure of the authorities to provide them with fuel to report for work.
