The School Students’ Buddhist Association of Sri Parakkrama National School, Kobeigane, Kurunegala organised a blood donation campaign at the school premises recently to mark the Esala Full Moon Poya Day -2022 which falls on July 13. The teachers and other donors donated blood to save the lives of residential patients in Government hospitals in the Kurunegala District. All the blood donors were given a fruit plant on that occasion. Here Ven. T. Sumanawansa Thera, a senior teacher of the school is offering a fruit plant to a blood donor. This meritorious program was arranged by students under the guidance of M. Ranjith Wasalasooriya, the principal of the school.
