At the Tea Auction held on June 8, 2022 an invoice of BOP grade from Dartry Valley Tea factory, Gampola, secured a Colombo Tea Auction record price of Rs. 2,150 in the Western Medium Category.
It was purchased by Uniworld Teas (Pvt) Ltd, and was sold through the catalogue of Lanka Commodity Brokers Ltd.
Dartry Valley Tea factory consistently producers some of the best western medium grown region teas. The factory is under the management of Senhora Group (Pvt) Ltd.
