The Octave Sunday Mass was held at St. Ignatius’ church, Dutch Bar, Kallady, Batticaloa. The Sacred Heart of Jesus appeared 14 times to Sister Faustina in 1930. Pope John Paul II declared the first Sunday after Easter (Octave Sunday) the festive feast of Divine Mercy. The Holy Mass was celebrated at St. Ignatius’ church, Dutch Bar, Kallady, Batticaloa on Sunday. The concelebrated Mass was conducted by the Parish Priest, Rev.Fr. Suwaikeen Roshan, Rev.Fr. Lorene Loganathan and Rev.Fr. James.
