The Urban Development Authority(UDA) spent Rs.18.7 million to reconstruct the Kalmunai bus stand for the benefit of the public. UDA Deputy Director S.P.S.Jeyatissa presented the documents to Kalmunai Mayor, Senior Attorney-at-Law A.M.Rakeeb recently. Kalmunai Municipal Deputy Commissioner A.S.M.Azeem, Accountant K.M.Riyas, Engineer A. J. H. Jowsi, Works Superintendent M.Udayakumaran, Local Government Assistant A.S.M.Nowshad, Urban Development Authority Project Officer G.K.C.Karanarathna, UDA officials M.M.Musthak and V. Thusithra and others were present.
