A campaign to clear garbage and clean the stagnant water from the main drainage at Koddaimunai close to Lady Manning Drive, Batticaloa was held recently. Here Batticaloa Municipal Council health workers are engaged in cleaning and loading the garbage to send it to the Thiruperunthurai solid waste management centre.
