Painting exhibition at Barefoot will remain open until May 22, 2022.
“I can hear the colours of my paintings creating diverse sounds. My aspiration to create new structures on my painting is inspired by how tempo and rhythm of colour play on the paper. This journey, in my thoughts, should be taken in silence and simplicity in expression.”
Kingsley’s practice involves painting, sculpture, illustration, installation and book arts. He has had more than 30 solo exhibitions in Sri Lanka and overseas. Kingsley has also been the recipient of a number of national and international awards since 1980.
