Matheesha, Shenaya shine at junior and Open squash

Matheesha Wijesekera of Royal College and Shenaya Siriwardena of Ladies College won two events each in the Junior and Open Doubles squash tournament that concluded last Monday (4) at the Army Squash Complex Mattegoda.

Wijesekera won the boys under-15 and 17 events while Siriwardena won the girls under-17 and 19 events respectively.

Yeheni Kuruppu of Visakha Vidyalaya also won two titles in the doubles category. She won the mixed doubles and the women’s Open doubles events along with her partners.
