
The Commissioner General of the Department of Buddhist Affairs has told all heads of Sunday Dhamma schools to conduct the year end Dhamma school students’ test on April 24 to promote them to the next grade.
The tests which were scheduled to be held on April 3 were postponed due to the curfew on April 2.
Sunday Dhamma Schools will reopen for students on April 24 after the New Year vacation and the tests for students will be held on the same day.
Almost 10,320 Sunday Dhamma Schools are now functioning countrywide where over one million students are studying, the Commissioner General of Buddhist Affairs stated in a circular to all Dhamma School heads countrywide.
