A branch of the People’s Bank was opened at Main Street, Vavunativu recently to facilitate the banking transactions of the people in the Western Sector of Batticaloa especially farmers.
Deputy General Manager P.M. Preamnath opened the branch with the blessing of religious leaders.
Batticaloa Regional Manager E.P.A. Shisirakumara, Town Branch Manager M.R. Bavanantharaja and Vavunativu Branch Manager S. Satheeskanth were present.
