Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein is a teacher, scientist, author, and educationalist. He was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Wurttemberg, Germany. His father’s name is Hermann Einstein and his mother’s name is Pauline Einstein. He had one younger sister. Her name is Maria (Maja) Einstein.

His father was an engineer, but Einstein’s family was poor family. He studied at the Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich and obtained his teaching diploma at that school. He completed his Phd at the University of Zurich.

Einstein discovered an equation about energy in physics. It is called E=mc2. It means energy equals mass times the speed of light squared. In 1933, while Einstein was visiting the United States, Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany. Einstein, of Jewish origin, objected to the policies of the newly elected government. He settled down in the United States of America and became an American citizen in 1940.

On the eve of World War II, he endorsed a letter to President Franklin D. Roosevelt alerting him to the potential German nuclear weapons program and recommending that the US begins similar research. Einstein was a good-hearted person and an genius. He died on April 18, 1955 at the Princeton Medical Centre, Plainsboro Township, New Jersey, USA.
