The Ministry of Buddhasasana Affairs has called for applications from candidates for the Dhamma School Teachers’ Certificate Examination and those who wish to apply can send their applications before March 15.
Commissioner General of Buddhist Affairs Sunanda Kariyapperuma has informed all heads of Sunday Dhamma Schools countrywide in a special circular in this regard.
Applicants have to apply via online and the information over this examination and the applying procedure and forms can be obtained from the website www.dba.gov.lk
This examination is scheduled to be held on June 18 this year. Since this examination could not be held for the past two years of 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and hence, the Commissioner General of Buddhist Affairs kindly requests all those applicants to apply this time and become qualified to serve as recognised Sunday Dhamma School Teachers.
