Cultivators who used President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s directive of organic manure and fertiliser were honoured with a golden shawl, cash and internationally accepted certificates by the Batticaloa District Agriculture Department at Kiran, Regi Cultural Hall, Batticaloa recently.
Eastern Province Governor Anuradha Yahanpath handed over certificates to farmers in the presence of Batticaloa District Secretary K. Karunagaran and Secretary to the Ministry of Agriculture, Eastern Province, J.K.J. Muthubanda.
