Jayasiri Bogahawatta, a resident of Hokandara has been suffering from an acute kidney failure for the past two-and-half years.
Jayasiri is a father of four school going children. Dr. A.L.M. Nazar, Consultant Nephrologist of the Nawaloka Hospital, Colombo has recommended a kidney transplant which will cost about Rs.1.5 million.
He is on a regular twice-weekly dialysis program where the cost of each session is Rs.7850.
Since Bogahawatta is not in a position to do a job he seeks financial assistance to have surgery. Any generous donors willing to help him can make their contributions to the People’s Bank, Maharagama Branch.
