Miss International UK (2020-2022) Evangeline Elachmanar unveiled a 10-foot statue of Goddess of Saraswathy while her mother Shanthi Rajakaruna unveiled a plaque commemorating the event at Navithanveli, Annamalai Maha Vidyalaya in Ampara.
Principal C. Balasingam, Assistant Director of Education, Sammanthurai Zone, V.T. Sahadevaraja and Deputy Principal Nilanthi Ravichchandran were also present.
