The inauguration ceremony to distribute 100,000 Mahaweli Ranbima deeds was launched at the Embilipitiya Mahaweli grounds yesterday under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. One-hundred-thousand clear title deeds will be distributed among the people under the Government’s National Policy Framework “Vistas of Prosperity and Splendour”. Thirty-five thousand deeds will be distributed among the farmers in 10 Mahaweli zones under the first stage. The President and the Prime Minister presented title deeds to 30 people yesterday.
