Old boys of the WP/KL/Al-Humaisara Central College China Fort, Beruwala spent Rs. 2.6 million to purchase a portable sound system, the renovation of the sports room, school CCTV project and library, chairs, the school pavilion, canteen, furniture and the school band uniform.
The handing over of the equipment was held at a ceremony under the patronage of the school principal M.R.M.Risky.
Director Zonal Education Office Kalutara A.U. Wickramarachchi was the Chief Guest. Divisional Director of Education Beruwala W.A.J.U. Somarathne was the Guest of Honour.
Vice Principal, M.L. Liyasdeen, OBA members, teachers, parents and students also participated.
The old boys were given certificates as a token of appreciation for their contribution.
