NAPA launches educational programs

The National Association of Professional Aspirants (NAPA), who have taken up the burden of protecting the professional rights of teachers, have launched a number of educational programs for the modern student community, while at the same time as bringing together tutoring teachers from all over the country with the aim of targeting nationals who aim at to be teachers.

The All Ceylon Professional Lecturers’ Association (APLA) aims to promote professional brotherhood, professional dignity, the protection of professional margins and the responsibility to uphold national standards and excellence. The APLA sees the empowerment of the professional speaker as an essential human being.

Dr. Amitha Pussella and General Secretary Kamal Priyankara have remained some of the leading social contributors to the future of the student body over the past two years. Among the community empowerments are the donation of school supplies and equipment to students from low income families in Government schools at Thalwa and Thambuttadattagama in the Anuradhapura District.
