Dinara de Alwis the under-18 girls champion in action
Dinara de Alwis of St Bridget’s Convent emerged girls under-18 champion at the First Capital SSC open tennis championship which is now in progress at SSC tennis courts.
Dinara won in two straight sets 6/0,7/5 over Nishka Vivekanandan to win the title at the under 18 final.
Meanwhile Anjalika Kurera partnered with Neyara Weerawansa clinched the women’s doubles title when they beat Nesangi Hemakumara and Vishmi Serasinghe 6/0, 6/4 in the final
