A slight change in the prevailing dry weather is expected after this evening, February 6, the Meteorological Department stated yesterday.
The Department forecasts several spells of rain in the Eastern, Uva and North Central Provinces and in the Hambantota and Matale districts.
Showers or thundershowers are expected at several places in the Sabaragamuwa Province and in the Nuwara Eliya, Kalutara, Galle and Matara districts during the evening.
According to the Meteorological Department mist will be experienced at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North Central and North Western Provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts in the mornings.
