Covid relief program

With the onset of the Covid epidemic in Sri Lanka, a program was initiated from Colombo to deliver medicines to the homes of patients, to disinfect schools and police stations and other public places, blood donation campaigns and so on.

Accordingly, the St. Johns Ambulance Service under the leadership of the Colombo branch Additional District Commissioner Sulochana Gamage and the other officers volunteered their services during this difficult time.

In recognition of the volunteer work carried out by Sulochana Gamage and the other officers, they were felicitated by the Dharmashakthi Foundation and the United Corporation Foundation.

Colombo District Commissioner MDPD Senanayake, Secretary Anusha Peiris, United Cooperative Foundation Clergy Patron Tangalle Gunaratana Thera, Chairman Jagath Ananda Silva and Secretary Visum Mapalagama were present on the occasion.
