A religious ceremony was held to mark the 96th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) on December 16, at the SLBC premises. Chief Guest Minister of Mass Media Dullas Alahapperuma presented Atapirikara to the Maha Sangha.
Secretary to the Media Ministry Jagath P. Wijeweera, SLBC Chairman Hudson Samarasinghe, Tower Hall Foundation Director Hassim Omar and Chairman’s Private Secretary Weerasingham Jayasankar were also present.
