President Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrived in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday night to attend the Indian Ocean Conference (IOC). The President and the delegation were warmly welcomed by Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the UAE, Malraj De Silva and the staff of the Embassy. President Rajapaksa is due to deliver the inaugural address of the Indian Ocean Conference on the theme ‘Ecology, Economy, Epidemic’. Prior to the conference, the President held several bilateral discussions.
