The Top Board and the Secondary Board of the Leo Club of D.S. Senanayake College led by the Club president Pasindu Gunasekera conducted two community projects to mark World Mental Health Day.
Project Sathkaara - DS Leos visited the Victoria Elders' Home and fed them not only food but also love. They sang songs to entertain the inmates and provided them with day-to-day necessities. The Chairperson of this project was Sergeant-at-Arms of the club, Faras Musafer and all the Leo Club Board members gave much support to this project.
Project pure coast - This project was to clean the Wellawatte beach and it was headed by Eranga Udawatta.
The Club plans to conduct more projects in the future.
