Air France launches Paris-Colombo flights

Air France began flying to Colombo from Paris, three times a week from this month, after a lapse of 27 years. The introduction of direct services between the Pearl of the Indian Ocean to the City of Lights will act as a conduit connecting Sri Lanka to one of the most important tourism hubs in the world and assist in reviving the country’s tourism industry in the post Covid-19 era. The first flight which arrived via the Maldives carried 65 passengers on board and French Ambassador Eric Lavertu was among those at the BIA to welcome them.
