The Sacred Pinnacle and the Crest-Gem of Sandahiru Stupa left Ahungalla Pulinathalaramaya yesterday morning amid religious blessings.
Accordingly, two revered articles on parade was to reach the day’s destination, the Yatagala Raja Maha Vihara in Unawatuna, Galle in the evening yesterday while passing Balapitiya, Ambalangoda, Madampagama, Hikkaduwa, Rathgama, Gintota, Piyadigama, Galle and Dewata Junction.
The parading of revered articles would be presided over by Ven. Maha Sangha amid religious blessings throughout the exposition.
Police Divisions of the areas will control the traffic and strict healthcare measures will be in place during the program.
