Former Sri Lankan skipper Dinesh Chandimal has been named in a 30 member squad for the forthcoming South Africa cricket series.
Chandimal last played in a while ball series in the West Indies early this year.
The selectors did not consider Angelo Matthews, Dimuth Karunaratne and Suranga Lakmal for the white ball format (ODI's and T-20s)
"We are really appreciative the way SLC handled the T-20 Invitational tournament during 13 days.
“Actually more than 60 players got the chance to play this inaugural tournament among the four teams.
“I am sure we could find the players for the next T-20 World Cup from this tournament," said Chandimal. (DR)
