Veteran artist Jayasiri Semage passed away on August 25 at the age of 84 at his residence in Nedimala, Dehiwala.
His unique artistic creations have been exhibited the world over and won him several international awards as well. His work adorns several temples island wide and he was also the designer of the main pandol of President R. Premadasa’s Gam Udawa program.
