The revered articles of the Sandahiru Stupa on a religious procession arrived at the Kalutara Bodiya on Saturday evening (Aug 21).
From the beginning of its passage from Panadura Rankoth Vihara, the religious procession which is carrying two revered articles arrived at the Kalutara Bodiya while passing Moronthuduwa, Wadduwa and Waskaduwa.
Accordingly, the ‘Crest-Gem’ and the ‘Sacred Pinnacle’ were kept at the Kalutara Bodiya premises on Aug 21.
Police Divisions of the areas controlled the traffic and strict healthcare measures was in place during the program.
