The world has spent a year and a half battling the Covid-19 pandemic, but the virus is still spreading in many countries. This includes Sri Lanka, which is experiencing its worst episode to date.

The country’s health sector is under immense stress as it fights a record daily number of cases and deaths, with only limited equipment and resources available.

To help support this battle, all of us at Anunine Holdings and our stakeholders took part in donating a PCR machine to the Panadura Base Hospital on June 14, 2021, which has been facing great difficulties over recent weeks. Dr. Indrani Godakanda, Kalutara District Director of Health Services Dr. Udaya I. Ratnayake, Former Health Minister of the Western Provincial Council, Jagath Angage, Panadura Police SP Samantha Wedhage, Sarath Kahapalaarachchi and the senior management of Anunine also participated for this worthy cause.

We thank the Panadura Base Hospital for giving us the opportunity to give back and we are forever grateful for our front line heroes that make it easier for all of us.
