DIG Ajith Rohana
Police spokesman Attorney-at-Law and head of the Western Province (Northern Range) Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Ajith Rohana has been promoted to the rank of Acting Senior DIG.
The Public Service Commission and Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security have approved the promotion.
Earlier DIGs Kithsiri Jayalath, Ranmal Kodithuwakku and M.D.R.S. Damminda were also promoted to the rank of Senior DIG.
