Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana put his signature last week validating the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill which was passed in Parliament on May 20, 2021. The Speaker signed the blueprint of the Act around 11.30 am on Thursday, whereby the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Act will be implemented from May 27.
