The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation organised an all-night Pirith ceremony on Thursday (May 6) to invoke blessings on the country and the world, in view of the sudden surge in Covid-19 cases world over. Chairman SLBC Jagath Wickremasinghe, Director General Chandrapala Liyanage and the staff took part in the religious event which was organised under special health guidelines.
