Severe lightning warning issued

The Natural Hazards Early Warning Center issued an AMBER alert for severe lightning.

The statement said ‘thundershowers accompanied by severe lightning are likely to occur at several places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces and in Galle, Matara, Anuradhapura, Vauniya and Mannar districts.’
